Air Intake for the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Honda Civic Si 2.0L

K&N dynamometer testing shows an estimated gain of 7 horsepower for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Honda Civic Si with the 2.0 liter engine
@ 6700 RPM. The air intake tube has a CNC precision machined billet mass air adaptor and a radiused filter adaptor which smoothes the air flow entering the tube.
The heat shield isolates the K&N air filter (RU-5147)
from the engine compartment. The
engine bay layout of this vehicle places the air box in the back, up against the
firewall. Here, it would be subject to lots of heat and little, if any, outside
air. To counter this, Honda uses a flex hose that leads from the front of the
vehicle to the factory air box to allow for a steady supply of outside air.
The K&N cold air intake system takes advantage of this system by reusing the fresh air
hose and connecting it to the base of our heat shield thereby supplying
the K&N conical filter with cooler outside air the same way the factory system
fed the stock air box when it was in place.
The 69-1014TS is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in

Texas Hold’em Poker players will need more than a poker face to take home one of
the largest working trophies the game has ever seen. One tournament winner at
the Horseshoe Riverboat Casino in Indiana will get a custom chopper built by
Derby City Customs.

Owners Jeremy and Jason Cantwell beat out Orange County Choppers for the
job. “The casino wanted the bike in time for the new year,” said Jeremy
Cantwell. “It will be on display at the casino until three thousand players compete over the course of ten
nights in September 2008 to win this bike. Pros from the World Series of Poker
are expected to play in this Texas Hold’em tournament.”

The Derby City Customs brothers built the custom chopper with a casino theme.
“We used real poker chips and cards on the bike,” said Cantwell. “The alligator
seat has a horseshoe cut into it and it’s accented with real gold horseshoes.”
The airbrush is by On Point and the actual base coat is laid on by Big Ed Wayne.
“It’s painted with candy green over pagan gold flake. It is one gorgeous bike,
it’s reflection in the sunlight is hard to describe, but it really picks up
light.”
The hand built rigid frame is molded completely from metal. “The tank and rear
fender are molded into the bike for one smooth continuous look,” said Cantwell.
We set up the front end with an inverted fork with wheels from RC Components.
The bike is equipped with a six speed transmission with lots of chrome. A 113
S&S engine is a lot of motor for the custom chopper. A nice wide 300 rear tire
also puts the rubber to the ground.
“K&N Engineering makes all of our filters for our custom bikes, it’s the filter

of this caliber deserves only the best.” The Cantwell’s designed a custom a 2008
Suzuki GSX1400 Hayabusa for K&N Engineering which was on display in the
K&N
booth at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) 2007.

Derby City Customs next project will be a Ryder Cup custom bike which will be
raffled away during the Kentucky Derby Festival.

Donny Schatz began the new sprint car season at Tyrepower Parramatta City
Raceway in Australia with a victory. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
champion then made it two straight with a wire-to-wire triumph in Saturday
night’s Sprintcar International Track Championship Round 10 event near Sydney.

Schatz started on the outside of the front row and controlled the 30-lap feature
from the beginning behind the wheel of the Rush Racing No. 15 with K&N

“They gave me a winner,” said Schatz. “The guys put in a lot of hard work to
give me such a good race car, I owe it all to them.” Schatz has 16 wins at
Parramatta City over the past three years.

Schatz blazed through 54 cars of lapped traffic while fellow Outlaw racers
Daryn Pittman and Steve Kinser battled for the runner-up spot. The action slowed
down a few times but Schatz stayed in command throughout the race and was
followed to the checkered flag by Kinser then Pittman.
“We’re off to a good start,” said Schatz. “We try to get better every time we
hit the track.”
The first Friday and Saturday night of 2008 will be huge for Schatz as he
competes for the $50,000 Sprintcar International purse in Australia.
