Every Jeep enthusiast has experienced the same dilemma, increase the size of the tires, and down goes the performance of the motor. Your gearing becomes longer, your engine struggles to turn all that rubber as you climb a hill or slog through mud. This is especially true if your Jeep didn't come with the top of the line V8 engine.
It's this exact reason that 6 years ago a Jeep repair shop owned by Jack Schuler, Avenger 4WD, began putting together high performance supercharger kits for their customers.
"My oldest daughter named it," Jack Schuler tells me, "Avenge means to make things right. That's what we do. We try to do what's right for the customer."
It's been working. Avenger Superchargers have become the go to guys to make rock crawlers, mud-boggers, off-roaders, or daily drivers really scream. The secret to their success, Jack Schuler says, is their customer service.

"We were just a regular four-wheel drive shop in Colorado. We only had three employees at the time." Jack relates, "We developed these kits for our customers running 35-inch tires, as an alternative to swapping in a V8."
They offer kits for three Jeep engines; the 2.4 liter four-cylinder, 2.5 liter four-cylinder, 4.0 liter six-cylinder and they are developing a supercharger for the 3.8 liter six-cylinder. Power increases range from 70 horsepower to 100 horsepower depending on engine size.

"K&N has been around the longest, they're the most recognizable brand out there." Jack says, "They're the most durable. In off-roading, you're cleaning the air filter far more often than on the pavement, and other brand's filters would just disintegrate."

Airflow is especially important in forced induction systems such as superchargers and turbo chargers.
"Your engine is basically an air pump, and it starts with the air filter. If your filer can't pump good CFM, your engine will suffer. The more air you can get in and out of the engine, the better your engine will perform."
And perform his engines do, their latest kit in production is estimated to get about 80 lbs of torque and nearly 80 horsepower out of the latest Jeep V6.

The Lotus Elise was first released in England in late 1996. This roadster has a hand finished fiberglass body shell on top of its
aluminum extrusion and bonded frame. It is capable of speeds up to 150 mph.
57A-6030 K&N performance intake system for Lotus Elise
K&N Engineering has designed a performance intake system (57A-6030) for
the 1996 to 2002 Lotus Elise 1.8 liter engine. It is a custom design that uses K&N's Apollo air filter enclosure and a washable reusable K&N air filter. See application details below.
This K&N Apollo cold air intake system comes with adaptors to fit the
Lotus Elise. The Apollo is designed to eliminate hot air problems and provide the
benefits of an open cone filter and a standard air box in one unit.
The Apollo has a removable cold air feed attachment.
This allows cooler outside air to be fed into the unit. Zip ties are provided to
secure the cold air hose in position. It takes about 90 minutes or less to
install this kit using simple hand tools.
The Seat Ibiza is manufactured in Spain by the Volkswagen group
and sold under the Seat brand. The Seat Ibiza is mostly available in the European and South American market. The supermini vehicle spans four generations and
is still in production.

K&N has released a performance intake system (57A-6024)
for the 2006 Seat Ibiza 1.8 liter engine, the 2005 Seat Ibiza 1.8 liter engine
and the 2004 Seat Ibiza 1.8 liter engine.
The 57A-6024 is designed to eliminate hot air problems and provide the benefits
of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. There is a
washable/reusable K&N high flow air filter within a protective shell which
increases volumetric efficiency.
The manufacture's air box and air path tubing creates
restriction in the flow of air going into the engine. The
57A-6024
is designed to free your vehicle from restriction.
K&N's performance intake replaces the factory air box and the entire air path to
the engine. This allows a virtually unrestricted flow of air to reach the engine
for added power and performance.

57A-6024 is easy to assemble with simple had tools in 90 minutes or less.
The newer Harley Davidson Sportster line is designed to slash vibration felt by
the rider to a fraction of its former level. The new frame is 25 percent stiffer
than the Harley design prior to 2004.

K&N Engineering has developed a high flow complete air cleaner assembly
(RK-3929) for 2004 to 2014 model Harley Davidson Sportster 883 and 1200 cc

The kit was designed to optimize air flow and significantly increase performance
for the Harley Davidson Sportster owner. The K&N assembly includes a powder
coated billet aluminum backing plate and internal run breathers for a clean installation.
This intake has a built-in dyno- tuned velocity stack which smoothes out the
delivery of air flow. The RK-3929 also keeps the factory appearance by using the
stock air cleaner cover. It fits behind the OE air cleaner cover and provides
increased surface area which aids in the delivery of more air.
No jetting or fuel modifications are necessary for optimum performance.
K&N high flow filters are washable and reusable.

In the economy car wars, the Toyota Yaris is holding its own despite strong
competition. Its electric power steering setup takes away the engine-driven
hydraulic pump of traditional power steering systems, giving it a natural even
feel when driving.
Air Intake for the 2006 to 2015 Toyota Yaris
K&N Engineering has released a high flow air intake system (69-8612TFK) with a
flat black aluminum tube for the 2006 to 2015 Toyota Yaris 1.5 liter engine. The flat black K&N cold air intake tube gives our system an OE look.

Along with good looks comes additional performance for the engine. K&N dynamometer
tests show a 4.56 horsepower gain for the 2007 Yaris @ 5088 RPM.
By using a CNC mass air sensor pad K&N is able to keep the Yaris running within
its factory settings. There is no need to reprogram the factory settings after
installation.
The conical K&N air filter (RU-4950) is designed to provide increased surface area and
dust capacity. Its placement takes advantage of the factory fresh air duct to
feed the K&N air filter outside air.
The 69-8612TFK has lower restriction than the factory air box resulting in an
immediate power gain. It also is designed to improve engine performance and is
easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. K&N high flow air intake systems
