Andrew “ACP” Comrie-Picard is second-place overall in the Rally America series.
His top-five finish at the Olympus Rally in eastern Washington puts him on track to secure a spot
in the 2008 X Games.

Rally America series driver Andrew Comrie-Picard will run his K&N Rally Car in
the 2008 X Games
“It’s a great result for the championship,” said Comrie-Picard. “Our
performance puts us in very good shape in the series. We have our eye on the top
prize this season.”.

Comrie-Picard and co-driver Marc Goldfarb brought their Mitsubishi Lancer
Evolution 1X with K&N Engineering products across the finish line. “We work in a
high-dust, high-speed environment with a motor built right to the edge of the
envelope,” said Comrie-Picard. “We just can’t let any contaminants get in and
K&N has been our choice for a decade.”
Comrie-Picard is known throughout the circuit for his talent in the tighter,
more technical stages and opted to take a conservative approach to the
high-speed Olympus Rally course. “The event was about bravery and horsepower,
along with full points,” he said. “There was no need to take risks here.”
Top crews hit speeds close to 130 mph on the slippery gravel course roads. The
team’s Mitsubishi performed almost flawlessly over the two-day race.
In addition to the championship title, drivers are vying for a chance to compete
at the high-profile X Games this summer in Los Angeles, California. After the
first five rounds of competition top teams receive invitations to the ESPN
contest.
“We’re looking forward to another good run in the X Games this season,” said
Comrie-Picard. “We’ve competed there since the beginning in 2006 and can’t wait
to go back in 2008.”
With two round left in the qualification series, Comrie-Picard has earned more
points this season than he accumulated when earned his invitation in 2007.
The next Rally America race will be at the Oregon Trail Rally in May.

The 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 4X4 ATV 700cc rides great on tight woody trails. On
tricky down-hills its progressive four wheel braking puts the right amount of
brake into a descent. Going uphill, it's equally a good ride as the front
suspension easies over obstacles with responsive power.

The 2008 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa was the bike of choice for Derby City Customs at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
K&N Engineering offers a replacement air filter (SU-1308) for the 2008 to 2015 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa 1340. The filter is a panel air filter that features K&N's
washable reusable design and uses the stock screws to hold the air box lid in place.
K&N air filters are designed to increase horsepower as well as provide excellent
engine protection. Installing a K&N motorcycle filter will not void any factory warranty on
your vehicle. K&N filters are made by hand in the United States and are
constructed of the finest materials. K&N filters are so effective because of the
type of cotton weave K&N employs and the chemistry of the oil applied to it.
This K&N air filter is made to last as long as your Hayabusa motorcycle. It is washable and reusable and it is backed by our original Million Mile Warranty.
K&N air filter SU-1308 fits the following vehicles:
The Mahindra Scorpio is made in India, but its manufacturers are
planning to bring it to the United States in the near future. The Scorpio is a

diesel engine and 2.6 liter diesel engine.
After removing the stock air filter element and cleaning the inside of the air
box, a K&N air filter is inserted into the air box. The provided metal inserts
are then placed into the tabs of the K&N air filter. The provided washers and
screws are then screwed back into the lid of the air box in place of the original
air box hardware to ensure a secure fit.
K&N air filters are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while
providing excellent filtration. K&N air filters are washable, reusable and
backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty. It will be the last air

K&N has been designing, manufacturing and enhancing high-flow air filters since 1969. We are a global corporation with more
applications than any other manufacturer of similar products. We also invented
the high flow category and the high flow technology that supports our products.
The British Superbike Red Viper racing team has selected K&N as
its air filter supplier for the 2008 BSB (British Superbike Series). This was
not a random decision, the team tested a number of competitors, but K&N air
filters consistently tested better.
Red Viper Honda Fireblade in action
"The overall difference between K&N air filters and the other brands that we
tested was K&N gave better protection to our engines,” said Adrian Butterworth,
Red Viper Team Manager. “The dust and debris blowing around the British
Superbike circuits can be quite bad at times.” The team races Honda Fireblades,
which are renowned for their reliability and performance on the track. It was a
good match.

Protection from racetrack elements wasn’t the only reason Red Viper chose
K&N technology. “The breathability that a K&N filter provides is what impressed
us the most,” Butterworth said. “We did a number of dyno runs on our Fireblades
with a K&N air filter and saw great results. We use them for their horsepower
advantage.”
Champion racers Aaron Zanotti and Tom Clegg make up the Red Viper racing team
competing in the BSB championship this year.
