Custom 2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe with K&N Air Filter
Lux Motorwerks is a full automotive restyling shop that handles everything from performance enhancements to upholstery, audio systems, paint and custom body work. K&N met up with Stephen Stasiulewicz of Lux Motorwerks at the 2009 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, where his custom 2009 Hyundai Genesis coupe was on display. "This was my fourth SEMA event and the fourth that I have built and displayed vehicles for," mentioned Stasiulewicz. "I started modifying vehicles in 1996 and have been doing it professionally for the past 10 years."

Stasiulewicz's has an overflowing passion for the modified car industry that pours into the innovative work he delivers through Lux Motorwerks. Vehicle manufacturers continue to support his skillful work by providing vehicles to modify and display at SEMA. "The vehicles here at SEMA are actually owned by their manufacturers," Stasiulewicz adds, "they are for show use only."
The Lux Motorwerks Hyundai Genesis was placed in the main entrance walkway where SEMA spectators gathered around custom vehicles to catch a glimpse of high-end performance and style. "There was so much time that went into the vehicle to prepare for SEMA," said Stasiulewicz, "a lot of work and sleepless nights."

The 2009 Hyundai Genesis coupe is equipped with a K&N air filter. "We use K&N products on our customer's cars because we like to offer them the best products in the industry," Stasiulewicz said. "K&N is a company we can stand behind and a company our clients know and trust." Stasiulewicz and Lux Motorwerks builds have been featured in magazines such as Rides, 0-60, Antenna and Performance VW.
"Recently we built a completely re-styled 2007 Chevrolet Suburban," Stasiulewicz commented. "We used a K&N air intake system and the fitment was spot on. I have been using K&N products since I started modding cars. I only want to use the best quality products. Performance of all K&N products we've used definitely live up to our expectations. Our clients are satisfied every time and that makes us happier than you would know."
Stasiulewicz and Lux Motorwerks plan to continue creating high quality custom vehicles to build on their already outstanding reputation. "We work hard on paying attention to every detail on everything we do," Stasiulewicz concludes. "We have put together an impressive team and we hope to continue to grow during these hard times. Wyld Bore Racing uses K&N X-Stream filter RX-3800 on his Kart
All things begin somewhere. A drop of water becomes a stream - becomes a river. Kart racers become NASCAR legends. Heck, it's fair to assume pretty much all racecar drivers at some point find themselves with their butts a mere inch off the asphalt racing Karts. It is after all the natural order of things.
Kart racer Jonathon Little of Wyld Bore Racing
"Jonathon Little is an excellent racer," says his mother, Sherry. "He won senior champ kart in '08. Finances have held us back in '09 though from making another realistic run at a championship. We will continue to race in hopes that someone will recognize his potential, and they will help to teach him more about racing. His dream is to become a NASCAR driver."
For the Littles' racing is a family bonding activity. Jonathon's thirteen-year-old sister, Brittany, has mad skills of her own. "Brittany, who is thirteen, takes our photos (she gets photo credits for the pictures on this page)," declares a justifiably proud Sherry. "If she keeps going, she will be able to take photos that will be printed anywhere and catch the eye. As a matter of fact, she already does. She is fantastic with a camera."
"Five years ago, it was Ray's (father/husband) birthday and our friend, Drew, traced an outline of a wild boar for him. The more we looked at it, the more we liked it, and so we decided to use it for our logo. We took the drawing to another artist to do the graphics and we had him refine the drawing to our liking. Ray wanted the wyld to be spelled like a person's last name, and then he had the bore spelled like a bore in the cylinder, it's a racing thing," explains Sherry, regarding their noteworthy logo and team name.
Wyld Bore Racing hopes to position Jonathon for another serious championship run in the 2010 season
"We use K&N X-Stream filters (Part #RX-3800), and always will now. This filter provides the best airflow - especially the faster the kart goes, the more air forces into the filter, which creates like a reverse tornado effect. It is like having a motor with a turbo charger on it, but actually not having one. We tried other name brands, but when we started using the K&N filter, we got even better motor response, better lap times, and the motor runs cooler. The motor runs so much cooler in fact that I tape up the blower housing," adds the crew chief Ray.
"Even if K&N was not a sponsor, I would still use their product, no kidding. K&N has been very good to us as a sponsor. We run K&N colors on our karts, our trailer, our truck, and of course our race jackets. We are very proud to have K&N Filters as our sponsor. We would like to proceed with K&N Filters as our sponsor in 2010 season as well."
"We hope to be able to position Jonathon for another serious championship run in the 2010 season. We will need some luck as well as financial support in order to do that though. We would also like to place Jonathon in a car called the Slingshot. He replaced a driver in '08 and he won that race. It was the first time Jon was ever in a Slingshot too."

BDS Suspension designs, manufactures and distributes suspension systems for most makes and models of trucks and SUV's. BDS Suspension's Mike Maloney is an automotive enthusiast with a strong hunger for adventure. Maloney has been modifying vehicles for over 25 years and has thousands of lifts under his belt.
The BDS Suspension 1997 Jeep TJ
For the first year, Maloney and BDS Suspension attended the 2009 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. K&N met up with Maloney at his booth where his 1997 Jeep TJ was on display. Maloney's TJ handled the tough, off-road terrain of Petersons 2009 Ultimate Adventure which was also sponsored by K&N.
Maloney's Jeep is equipped with a K&N filter. "We've used K&N products for years," Maloney mentioned, "not only on our company vehicles but our personal rigs as well. We like the additional protection K&N offers and the great performance we can count on. The TJ has been running a K&N Filtercharger air filter as well as a pre-filter, making over a dozen, hard core, off road events in the last year."
Maloney and BDS Suspension have numerous customized rigs that are driven by their staff on a daily basis visiting retail 4x4 and truck accessory shops. This is probably the first of many SEMA shows the Coldwater, Michigan business will be attending given the interest SEMA attendees had in their Jeep and suspension systems.
2010 Mustang RTR is equipped with an RTR rear diffuser, front splitter, aluminum rear spoiler, RTR side and rear emblems, as well as a distinctive RTR vinyl scheme
K&N drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. presented a new generation of the Ford Mustang to the world at the SEMA Show this year – the Mustang RTR. Along with designer Caleb Clark and the help of Classic Design Concepts, Vaughn successfully brought his vision to life in the form of a modern, aggressively-styled Mustang that contains a perfect mixture of performance upgrades. The RTR was on display at the K&N Filters booth all week and received a huge response from media and car-enthusiasts alike.

The RTR's performance upgrades include a Ford Racing calibration with a K&N high-flow air filter. "I chose to go with the K&N high-flow air filter because it has the best filtration and the most airflow; and offers nine horsepower when matched with a Ford Racing tune," says Vaughn.
Other performance upgrades include Falken FK452 performance tires, Ford Racing damper kit with 1.5 inch lowering springs, Baer drilled and slotted rotors, and extremely throaty mufflers.
The Mustang RTR includes aggressive OEM-quality exterior elements such as an RTR rear diffuser, front splitter, aluminum rear spoiler, RTR side and rear emblems, as well as a distinctive RTR vinyl scheme. The vehicle also features a tasteful chin spoiler and sleek side splitters. The aggressive stance of this car is defined by the 19x9.5 Mustang RTR wheels. The interior consists of RTR-specific floor mats, shift knob, emblems. Each Mustang RTR owner will become a part of the exclusive RTR registry and will receive a numbered badge with their new machine.
New 2010 Ford Mustang GT RTR will be in select Ford Dealerships in February 2010
"There is no question that Mustang's performance, quality and looks have evolved straight from the factory," says Vaughn. "However, the majority of the Mustang aftermarket has not fully followed the progression with regards to aesthetics. I saw the need to get something out there that was different from traditional Mustang styling; something that could open up a new set of eyes to the already-incredible Ford Mustang, while keeping the current Mustang enthusiast smiling."
The Mustang RTR will be available in multiple color combinations at select Ford dealerships nationwide beginning in February of 2010. This package will first be available with the 2010 Ford Mustang GT; however, a V6 version will be soon to follow. The current estimated price for the RTR package is $7,800.
"Pure passion for Mustang has fueled me and my team every step of the way and is the single reason I decided to chase this dream and never lift – just as I have with my driving career," says Vaughn. "Trust me when I tell you, this Mustang is Ready to Rock!"
