Kevin Swindell won the pole and led the first 128 laps of the race.

Dillon took the lead from reigning K&N Pro Series East champion Ryan Truex on lap 137 and held on for the final 14 laps of the race.

Truex and Kevin Swindell were battling for the lead and collided. Dillon inherited the lead and won the race under caution. The race was red-flagged four times and there were 12 caution periods for 70 laps of the 150-lap race.

The final caution period came during a green-white-checkered flag finish when Swindell stalled in turn two.

"It made me a little nervous on a couple those green-white-checkers, but we came out on top," said the 18-year-old Dillon, a rookie driver from Lewisville, N.C. "I'm happy."

Dillon has two top fives and four top 10s in six K&N Pro Series East races this year.

Cole Whitt finished second, his fifth top-five finish in eight races.

"Our car seemed to get better and better and then those reds just kinda killed us," Whitt said. "You come home second. We're happy with it and we'll take what we got."

Ryan Gifford was third. It was his fourth top-five finish in eight races.

"We got to race this car again at Dover. I was just trying to save the guys at the shop some work," Gifford said.

The last race on the K&N Pro Series East schedule is at Dover International Speedway in Delaware on Sept. 24.

Truex, the leader in the East Series standings, finished seventh. He has a 66-point lead over Darrell Wallace Jr. with two races to go. Wallace came in to the Gresham race only 33 points behind Truex. Wallace finished 15th and two laps down after his car was damaged in the wreck between Truex and Swindell on lap 137.

Swindell won the pole for the race and led 128 of the first 129 laps of the race. Truex took the lead from Swindell on lap 130 and held it for seven laps before he and Swindell crashed.

The next K&N Pro Series East race is at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sept. 17.

K&N dynamometer testing shows a 16.4 horsepower gain at 2600 rpm and a 33.6 lbft gain of torque @ 2500 rpm. This is more than an 8 percent increase in torque compared to the original intake for improved towing and passing power.

The K&N air intake tube was designed and shaped to provide the maximum amount of horsepower while staying within the factory parameters for this twin turbo application.  There is no need to re-program when you run our K&N air intake system.  The 57-2576 makes use of the factory mass air sensor and electric filter minder.

The lifetime replacement K&N air filter (RU-5172) is washable and reusable. It is made of six layers of cotton gauze for maximum surface area and filtration. With proper care diesel motors typically last longer than gas motors. Our K&N air filter ensures you will get the protection your diesel motor needs. Our air intake system includes a powder coated heat shield which isolates the K&N air filter from engine heat.

Designed to be installed in 90 minutes or less, our K&N air intake systems are backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty. Take a look at our 57-2576 installation video to see all the steps involved.

The diesel trucks that use this K&N air intake are working trucks. There is a specially designed lid that goes on top of the heat shield to create a full air box. The 57-3066 adds power and performance as it protects the engine from harmful dirt and debris.

The factory intake tube and factory air filter are restrictive. K&N gained the additional horsepower by removing the factory inlet tube and factory air box and replacing it with the bigger and smoother K&N air intake system.

The new air intake system pulls air through a washable K&N cone shaped air filter (RC-5177) which increases airflow and filtering capacity. The powder coated steel heat shield isolates and protects the K&N air filter from engine heat. The result is virtually unrestricted cooler outside air entering the engine for an immediate power gain.

It takes less than 90 minutes to install most K&N air intake systems with common tools. K&N air intakes also come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

K&N has developed an air intake system (57-1557) for 2007, 2008 and 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 & 3500 pickups with 6.7 liter diesel engines.  K&N dynamometer testing shows a 20.63 horsepower gain at 2500 rpm and a 43.35lbft gain of torque @ 2500 rpm. This is more than a 10 percent increase in torque over the original intake for improved towing and passing power.

The 57-1557 features a specially molded intake tube and a K&N lifetime replacement filter (RC-5142). The K&N washable and reusable air filter provides increased surface area and dust capacity. The K&N air filter is made of six layers of cotton gauze sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. The nature of the cotton allows high volumes of airflow and exceptional filtration efficiency. With proper care diesel motors typically last much longer than gas motors. This K&N air filter provides outstanding filtration efficiency to ensure you get the protection your diesel motor needs.

Our air intake system includes a powder coated steel heat shield which isolates the K&N air filter from engine heat.  It has lower restriction than the factory air box which results in additional power and torque when you need it.

The 57-1557 is designed so the mass air sensor will work with factory stock settings. This means there is no need for re-programming to run our air intake system.

Designed to be installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools, our K&N air intake systems are backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.

Bill Balog and B Squared Motorsports Win at Beaver Dam Raceway

Balog says he hopes to keep promoting K&N straight into the championship this year.
Balog says he hopes to keep promoting K&N straight into the championship this year.
Recently it was back to Beaver Dam Raceway for Bill Balog and his B Squared Motorsports team. In total 31 of finest IRA Sprinters showed up for the race in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin held only a couple of Saturdays ago.
The win at Beaver Dam Raceway keeps intact the teams 14 straight IRA top-five finishes.

After some last second fine-tuning and finagling on his car, Balog started the 30-lap feature race in eighth place. Whatever the team discovered in their heat race and implemented onto the car right before the race worked. At the drop of the green flag Balog was gone, methodically working his way towards the front with each lap. By lap ten he was solidly positioned in second place.

Balog patiently waited for lapped traffic to clear before to attempting his move into first place. However he never had to make that move, with a little help from the race leader, who got himself tangled with lapped traffic, Balog took the lead on the ensuing restart. With 16 laps remaining Balog set a blistering pace and went unchallenged the rest of the way, collecting his third feature win of the year and the tenth of his IRA career.
The 'King of the Kenosha County Fair' now has four IRA feature wins in the last six starts.

The win also kept intact the teams run of top-five finishes, which is now at 14 straight at IRA events. The team also now holds a 66 point lead in the IRA standings with ten events remaining.

"Us being faster than everyone else has a lot to do with our set-up," says Balog. "We hit the set-up right on the head that night, and I could put the car where ever I need to. That was the biggest key in getting us to the front from our eighth place starting spot."

Steadiness resulting from their key preparations has the team staring right into the heart of a championship, and we wondered how he felt about that?

"We feel the championship is getting closer to becoming a reality, but in order for us to capitalize on it, we will just need to stay consistent, like we have been for majority of the year and the points will take care of themselves."

"Well, we're going to some tracks here pretty quick that we have had success at in the past, so hopefully we can continue what we've been doing, and we can get a few more victories before the year is over," adds Balog.

"We would really like to thank K&N for everything they have done for us this year – we hope to continue to help promote the best products ever with a championship as the year goes on."

After their win at Beaver Dam Raceway, last weekend at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, Balog was crowned "King of the Kenosha County Fair." The win gives the B Squared Motorsports team their fourth IRA feature win in the last six IRA races.
