The TRX450R is not just another four-wheeler. It is one of the most anticipated
quads of the past 15 years. ATV enthusiasts like the motor which has the basic
architecture of the motorcycle and the engine cases' interior webbing that was
completely redesigned.
Powerlid for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2014 Honda TRX450R and TRX450ER
For 2006, the TRX450R is all new from the ground-up, with
more power and an electric start option. For hardcore race and sport ATV's K&N
Engineering has a new Powerlid (HA-4506-T)
that eliminates restrictive ATV intake snorkels by replacing the stock air box
lid with a high airflow lid.
The Powerlid uses K&N washable and reusable filter technology to make a great ATV
even better with improved airflow. "When you use a
Powerlid, it changes the stock jetting considerably," said K&N Powersports Brand
Manager Johnny Jump. "Typically it can be difficult to find the right jets to
make the bike run perfectly. K&N supplies the right jets to make sure the rider
can tune his bike accurately and ride it immediately." HA-4506-T is designed for the 2006 to 2014 Honda TRX450R and 2006 to 2014 Honda TRX450ER.
All K&N Powerlids come with a PreCharger filter wrap for the lid and a
carburetor jet selection kit if required. "A Pre-Charger/Dry Charger Filter wrap
helps to increase the service life of the Filter and helps stop particles of
dirt from clogging up the filter," said Jump. "It is typically used in longer
off-road races."
It was a bittersweet weekend for the Jeremy Campbell Motorsports team. On the
positive side Campbell had a strong showing in his first ever Kings Royal start
at Eldora Speedway; on the negative side Campbell battered a considerable amount
of equipment.
World of Outlaws Jeremy Campbell
World of Outlaws racer Campbell ran very well in his heat race and was
working his way through A Feature traffic when he got into a rut and flipped.
Both Campbell and the car were hurt but they were ready to race the next day on
the high-banked, high-speed half-mile oval.
Campbell uses K&N Engineering Air and Oil Filters on his sprint car. “The K&N

More than 50 cars were on hand at The Knight Before the Kings Royal. Campbell
struggled and started in the C Feature. A car broke in front of him and Campbell
went up and over again for back to back DNFs (did not finish).
On Saturday Campbell was on the front row of the heat race and transferred
directly to the A Feature for his first Kings Royal. Working his way forward in
the feature he was lapped right before a caution which locked him into position.
Campbell finished 13th.
“I really felt like we had a stronger car than 13th,” Campbell said. “With
the luck we’ve had this weekend we’ll take thirteen and try harder next week. We
have too many races ahead of us to dwell on the ones that are over.”
Because the Kings Royal is a special format, the race does not count toward the
March to the Mean 15. The World of Outlaws action continues Tuesday at
Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Next are the Williams Grove Summer
Nationals Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Mercedes Benz designs and powers the Dodge Sprinter, a vehicle used for
commercial applications. The back doors open to the vans full height and swing
open from 180 to 270 degrees depending on the wheelbase.

Sprinters come in 2500 (three-quarter ton) and 3500
(one-ton) ratings however the 2500 series is the only one to include a passenger
model that fits up to ten occupants. Two people sit up front and as many as
three more rows of seats can be installed. Sprints have a flat cargo floor
storage space ranges from 247 to 473 cubic feet.

Lift the hood of the Sprinter and the K&N Air Filter is custom designed to fit
in the factory air box. The drop-in design means adding performance is simple,
just remove the disposable air filter in the Sprinter and replace it with K&N's
Air Filter (33-2319).
The washable, reusable, high flow flat panel filter is designed to increase
horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. The (33-2319)
is 1.5 inches in height (38mm) with an outside length of 12.375 inches (314 Mm)
and an outside width of 10.875 inches (279mm).
Unlike disposable filters, K&N Air Filters use a unique pleated design comprised
of an oiled cotton fabric sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum
screen. The filters capture airborne dirt particles while allowing high volume
air flow. These particles than cling to the outside of the filter and become
part of the filtering media.

Mazda's B3000 pickup truck and the Ford Ranger are basically the same truck.
Both models share drivetrains, chassis and a production line. The conservative
design is basic but functional. K&N Engineering can take these work trucks to
another level with a 57-Series Generation II Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-2560).
It is designed for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Mazda B3000 3.0 L V6 and the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Ford
Ranger 3.0 L V6.

The 2004 Ford Ranger 3.0 Liter V6 showed a 10.0 horsepower
increase at 4921 RPM on K&N's dynamometer. "This horsepower is very good for a 3
-liter," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "The engine gets a lot more
air and that means more useable power."
The FIPK uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RX-4860)
which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on
driving conditions). It also comes with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited
Warranty.
It takes 90 minutes or less to install this rotationally molded polyethylene
intake (57-2560).
The kit is equipped with all mounting hardware, silicone hose adapters and
stainless steel clamps.
The 2005 Mazda B4000 and the 2005 Ford Ranger share a production line. Both have
a rugged chassis and a double-wishbone front designed for work. The B-Series is
available with a 4.0 liter V6 which was introduced at the same time the Ford
Ranger also received a new V6.

By replacing your factory air intake assembly with K&N's 57-Series FIPK (57-2561),
your engine will get more air with less restriction. More air means more usable
power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. Dynamometer tests at
K&N Engineering's lab show a 13.45 horsepower gain at 5129 RPM.
"We tested a lot of vehicles to maximize performance on this FIPK," said K&N Performance Kit
Manger Bert Heck. "We had to concentrate on placing the mass air sensor in the
perfect location for these two
vehicles."
