There are many loyal K&N customers willing to purchase a performance intake system the first day that they purchase a new vehicle. This might be due the proven horsepower gains made time and time again on the K&N dyno. Design is critical when it comes to making a product the guarantees horsepower. The key is to get the straightest air flow path possible as the air makes its way into the engine. All dyno test literature comes inside the box of each K&N intake and can be found on the K&N website on the product summary page.
K&N Air Intake System for 2007-2008 Chevy and GMC 2500 HD and 3500 HD 6.0L pickups
Most factory intake systems choke down air flow and reduce engine performance. Air flow is important for big engines like the 6.0 liter powerhouse offered in 2007-2008 Chevy Silverado HD trucks. Automobile manufacturers sacrifice the power in order to quite engine noise but, most truck owners want to hear the engine roar when they mash the gas pedal. A truck is meant to perform, not spit out low emissions and sit silently at a stop light.
If you are looking for more performance out of your Silverado HD give K&N some thought. Part number 57-3067 is specifically designed to increase horsepower and torque. This K&N intake system made an estimated additional 11 horsepower and 13 lb-ft. of torque to the wheels. One simple bolt-on is all it takes to improve performance.

One additional feature of 57-3067 that can be appreciated is the washable and reusable air filter. Servicing the air filter can be done with a K&N Recharger Kit which can be picked up at your local K&N authorized dealer. A reusable product cuts down on waste and the reoccurring purchase of OEM air filters.
Since K&N is a quality reusable product it comes backed by a Million Mile Limited Warranty. If any issues arise with your intake, just give customer service a call and they will be more than happy to assist you. They can be reached at 800-858-3333.

K&N Air Intake System for the 2011 to 2014 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6.
The redesigned Ford Mustang that started in 2011 and has progressed into 2012 and 2013 is showing itself to be an impressive vehicle. The Mustang has always been one of the great sports cars but Ford has been revamping the engine and chassis with new technology on an almost yearly basis. Its new 3.7 V6 is now putting out only 10 horsepower less than the previous V8 model and torque has seen a significant improvement as well. All of these improvements don't mean there is no room for just a little more power at the rear wheels though. K&N's 69-3529TP performance air intake system is designed just for that boost in power.

K&N air intake installed in 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4
Some vehicles have the privilege of being selected for special upgrade packages in order to grab the attention of a specific audience. The Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is subject to such marketing. Most compact cars normally suffer from the"lack of power syndrome" but, that is not the case here. The SRT-4 Caliber includes a more powerful engine, better suspension, and brakes making it the "little hatch back that could."

In comparison to other manufactures that produce similar vehicles, the SRT-4 has trouble breathing efficiently with the restrictive factory intake system. Air intake system part number 57-1560 was designed, road tested, and dyno tested to ensure that higher performance is achieved. This air intake system made an estimated 10.85 horsepower over the factory intake system. Some would agree this is a generous power increase for the cost.
57-1560 includes a K&N high flow air filter, low restriction intake pipe, heat shield, and a hardware kit with installation instruction sheet. Simple hand tools are required for installation, which can be done in about 90 minutes.
Power and easy installation are not the only benefits offered by intake system 57-1560. K&N air intake systems provide outstanding air filtration and they give your engine compartment a nice custom look. All included parts are covered by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty. Elliott took the lead on lap 145, before the Kennedy accident, and was able to maintain his lead on the restart at Iowa Speedway.
Chase Elliott won the first NASCAR K&N Pro Series race of his career at Iowa Speedway. Action sports star Travis Pastrana had his best career finish in a NASCAR K&N Pro Series race. Dylan Kwasniewski padded his lead in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West standings. Brett Moffitt was the hard-luck loser in the race. After winning the pole and leading the first 144 laps of the race, he ran into traffic and fell back in the closing laps.
At Iowa Speedway, Chase Elliott, the son of NASCAR Cup champion Bill Elliott, took advantage of Moffitt's mishap and took the lead on lap 145. He stayed out front over the last five laps of the race and survived a green-white-checkered flag finish that extended the race to 154 laps. "A lot of people talk about my dad and having big shoes to fill," Elliott said. "At the same time I'm me and I'm out here racing and Dad's not. For me, if I can just do the best I can do - I just got to do the best I can do, that's all I can ask for."

Elliott, who started in 15th place at Iowa Speedway, notched his first win in 16 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Moffitt crossed the finish line in fifth place after colliding with Cale Conley. Ben Kennedy crashed on lap 146 and set up the green-white-checkered flag finish. Elliott took the lead on lap 145, before the Kennedy accident, and was able to maintain his lead on the restart.
Pastrana, an X-Games champion and rookie on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, was fourth, his best finish in six starts. It was his first top-five finish since making his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East last year. "It really felt good," Pastrana said. "This was actually the car that Brett (Moffitt) won last year with, so we knew the car was good. We had a little pressure going in."
For me, if I can just do the best I can do - I just got to do the best I can do, that's all I can ask for.
Kwasniewski was eighth at Iowa Speedway and the highest-finishing driver from the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. The race at Iowa Speedway was a combination of drivers and teams from the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West. There were 47 drivers who tried to qualify and 36 who started the race.
Kwasniewski was credited with the K&N Pro Series West win at Iowa Speedway. Greg Pursley, his teammate and Gene Price Motorsports and the reigning NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion, was ninth. "It was good, definitely a good points day," Kwasniewski said. "Eighth is typically not the best finish but a good points day. I'm still in the lead now. The car was great. We definitely fixed it on that halfway part because we were definitely loose at the beginning. It was a fun race. I had a blast and we came home with all the fenders on it."
Elliott, who has four top-10 finishes in four NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races this year, extended his lead in the East Series standings to 20 points over Moffitt. Kwasniewski is 15 points ahead of Pursley in the West Series standings after five races.
The next NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race is at Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota on May 26. The next NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race is at Bowman Gray Stadium in North Carolina on June 2.
